Tybee Island Pier and Pavillion
The original structure, the Tybrisa Pavillion, was built in 1891. Until it was destroyed by a fire in 1967, the pavilion held dances, bands and other events on it. It rebuilt in 1998 and is in constant use for fishing, reunions, festivals and dances. Guests can visit this structure for free or rent the pavilion for special occasions. The Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion is located at the end of Tybrisa Street on the beach.
